You asked for it - here they are. These 2 photos show the color pretty accurately. They are a little darker than the floor. They have the sealer on them, still need wax. The next step is to drill holes to anchor them to the cabinets and drop them in place. Getting close!

The weather is fine. The usual flooding out there in SE - I think the Sandy and Clackamas Rivers were flooding - maybe washing houses away. It just really poured for a few days. The coastal rivers were flooding too. Tillamook was flooded, of course. Everything around here is fine and the rain has stopped.
The 10 day forecast however is for showers every day. The average rainfall for November is 5.9 inches and so far this month (9 days) we've had 6.92. I think the really hard rain has stopped though. The people on the coast are mad at the governor because he said it is just doing what it always does there. He did declare a disaster, but he is right - they live on a coastal plain where rivers flood and that is the way it is. At least a little flooding every year. And a good number of them probably don't believe global warming is a real problem.
